Arthur Kvarnstrom is a landscape painter living in New York and Windgap. PA. Presently he paints almost exclusively in Eastern PA and Western New Jersey, around the Delaware Water Gap.
His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally, including Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ and the Noyes Museum in Oceanville, NJ. In New York he has also exhibited in solo shows at the Prince Street Gallery and at Kingsborough Communnity College in Brooklyn, NY. New York group exhibitions include the George Billis Gallery and the Kouros Gallery. In October 2006 he was awarded a residency at the Heliker-LaHotan Foundation on Cranberry Island Maine.
Other art activities, aside from showing his work includes teaching watercolor
painting. An MFA from Kent State University. a BFA from the University of Arizona alomg with study at the Art Student's League in New York completes his education. He is currently a member of ACE, the Arts Commmunity of Easton and shows with that orgainization regularly.
